He visited our gym today,i wasnt sure what to expect to be honest i have heard stories of people meeting heroes/famous people and being let down,But i am very happy to say he was an absolutely top bloke,he took time to sign autographs take pics have a chat and was very friendly.
So he has just added one or two more people to his fanbase

Nice one -my old man chatted to him when he was in Cardiff Bay last week on his national bike ride - made his day, last time he was that close was when Mansell jumped up onto the pit wall right next to us just before the start of famous 1987 Silverstone GP to sign autographs (the one where he dummied Piquet for the win).

I lost intererst in F1 after he retired, top racer

He's been doing a charity bike ride, there was a feature on the GP qualifying yesterday. Todays stint was from Harrogate down to Lincoln!!

Sounds like hes mellowed a bit as my boss worked for him a few years agao and said he was a right bastard lol. Was also told that a couple had a wedding at his golf course and had their photo taken with him as he was passing through, and he tried charging them Ł250!

He was an awesome driver though. Like Hamilton he didnt care and just drove flat out every lap
