Default X-Sport RS500 upper spoiler

I'm thinking of purchasing an x-sport racing kevlar/carbon RS500 upper spoiler, however I know how much time and effort Ford put into making sure the original made the car spot on. I believe the copy weighs less than the original and wondered if this will have a serious detrimental effect on the cars handling or feel?

Has anyone got one fitted to their car?

Thanks

its not the weight of the spoiler - its the downforce applied and as its the same shape as the 500 the downforce will be comparably the same.

The lighter spoiler is better if you are worried about weight - i have one of these waiting to go on and good bit of kit.

Surely once doing tailgates etc too, you're going to loose too much weight from the back of the car?

How do these fit, do you have to butcher the bootlid or do they fit as originals?
