Just been offered a job interview for Thursday. Problem is i'm self employed as a railway contractor and whereas I noramally work nights this week I've got three days. Works been really tight and I can't afford to lose any so i've said I'm able to do it on that day. I said I could dom it friday but they said they'd arrange another date and get back to me. Have I done the right thing?

Fair point Mr Astley. Just asking opinion. I'm really starting to regret saying I can't do that day but money is so fucking tight at the moment. Feel like ringinf em back and saying I can do it, but don't want to let the bloke down who gave me the work as next time something comes up he may look elsewhere. Its doing me head in!!!!!1

I'm just panicking whether I'll get another shot. I'm gagging to get on with a firm again. Work is so thin on the ground and inconsistant at the minute its unbelievable. I'm sitting at home staring at the walls monday to friday most weeks and just out at the weekend. Everything I earn is going straight back out!!
