You need to know the MAM of the pickup
Under 3500kg you're O.K to drive it.

From dvla
Motor vehicles with a MAM of up to 3,500 kg, no more than eight passenger seats, with or without a trailer - weighing no more than 750 kg

im pretty sure the mam is 3500kg wasnt sure if the actual bed on the pickup sticking out from the cab was an issue.
