Default Suspension Guru's: Corner weighting question

As I understand it, you adjust the ride height to try and place as even a balance of weight over the four corners of the car as possible, giving more neutral handling.

My question is, does doing the above not give the car an uneven/lopsided ride height, as your setting it according to weight and not height?

I've recently started thinking about my cars handling and this popped into my house...

Cheers

it does but most people who do corner weighting is for racing purposes and not really interested what people think of the cars strance. my race car sits a lot higher on the o/s rear that everywere else but it transforms the handling.

It won't be HUGELY uneven. The idea is to get cross weights the same, you'll never get front to rear 50/50 with the engine where it is.

X - Y

Y - X

So basically you want the same across the diagonals. Total XX's equalling Total YY's

Don't forget driver weight as a lot of people miss this out.
