anyone going santa pod on sunday ?
just a quick post to see who's going to the pod on sunday
im going but need to get a new clutch fitted before i can run my car

il be running my 2.0 n/a zetec fiesta
i hant run before so hoping to get about 15s
car does 100mph in 3rd on the limiter so i might just thrash it to 3rd and keep my foot down in 3rd till the end of the strip
cant emagine i can get to 4th gear with 141 bhp in a 1/4 mile strip

Go on steve Run some good times, way faster than all the Skylines (i dont thnk anyone with a REALLY special one is going, i doubt anyone will be even in the 11s) then i can go take piss out of them on monday

cant wait to get my new motor out on the track, last season i was running a BMW 740 4lt V8 this year i've dropped to a 2.5lt V6 Mondeo hopefully the weight loss will make some difference in the times

This time of year as its been layed up all winter itl be slimey as fuck i reckon, not a good day for running decent times, rammed too as seems everyones going from loadsa different forums etc etc.

Yeah I remember going to the first rwyb in 2003, wheelspin all the way and put almost a second on my ET's which ended up in a 15.4 ...went back 3 month's later ran again nothing different to set-up and got 14.5. Just goes to show what a difference it makes going at different times of the year.

Id go to compete but nowt worth going jus to watch, esp this time of year, itl be bloody freeeeezing!

Fookin bloody cosies, went down me sis's today and clutch burnt out wont hold nowt in 4th 5th, might be better on high rev changes so we'll see, still gonna go and give it some
