Keyboards / Mice
Looking for a new keyboard / mouse for the PC. Got pissed off with my old wireless ones keeping on munching batteries and loosing signal so plugged the wired ones back in.
What have you lot got? Want something half decent that will last a few years. I remember seeing one that sits in a charging cradle, so it keeps the batteries charged, can't see anything similar now though!
Cheers

I've got a Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. Never had an issue with signal loss and the mouse is only on it's second set of batteries after over a year and the keyboard is still on the originals.
I'm sure you can get better but I certainly have no complaints.

Bit tricky at first but once you get used to it its much much faster and better than a conventional mouse
Thumb for left click, forefinger for scrolling and Fingering finger for right clicking....Simples

20K+ Super Poster.
I've never had a problem with my wireless ones, they are a Logitech keyboard and mouse, batteries in each last way over a year, and used at least 5-6 hours a day 7 days a week.
I did find the mouse was no good for games as when firing at things it wopuld miss some of the fire signals, so put in a wired one just for that.
Both take 2 X AA batteries and I use Panasonic Evoia, worlds longest lasting AA battery, about £5 pack of four from ebay.

I beg to differ, i use a logitech mx something or other, i forgot which one but im sure its something like 1000 or 3000, ive had it about 2-3 years but cant find it online anymore? anyway i used to play Battlefield online with it and never had a problem shooting or controlling the air craft etc, its super accurate using it on a flat smooth wood table with no mouse mat, and its also rechargable, normally lasts about 3-4 days of heavy use
