Default Got myself a new bargain daily runner.

Bit of an impulse buy after a few drinks on eBay really.

Paid £105 for a Peugeot 106 1.5 Diesel last week. Don't have a clue why because it had no tax and test

Anyway, booked it in for an MoT today and went to pick it up from the seller, dropped it off at the garage and it passed first time absolutely chuffed to bits with that.

Straight down the post office for some tax and it owes me the grand total of £208 on the road

Little dent on the drivers door but otherwise its quite tidy, just needs a good hoover out!

It'll get me to work and back for a few months and then i'll make my money back I should hope.

Check the crankshaft oil seals on it mate as I had one go on or down the motorway years ago and the lump went bang!!!

On a happier note their a 50-60 mpg car which are generally reliable, nice cheapie and should fly the mot every year, pugs just don't rust!!!

Btw the dent on the drivers door is caused by the checkstrap not working and letting the door open too far, common on them.

Vaughant - will have a quick look tomorrow and see what I can find cheers bud. As for the dent, yeah I thought it might have been something like that, to be fair though i'm not gonna bother sorting it out, i'll either shift it on when the tax runs out or just run the MoT out and scrap it lol.

little bargain mate, been ooking round for a sub £500 car for the misses mate and it is slim pickings, very slim. Done well there and will double your money come sale time. Scrappage scheme seems to have sucked up all the little runners.

Tell us about it matt, i've been looking for something for the missus for ages. I sold our Astra and we've been sharing my runabout Volvo S40 but its a pain in the arse especially as we both work 40 miles apart etc.

Looked on eBay for weeks trying to find something and there was bugger all, sods law the same day I won this 106 we also won a bid on a W reg Micra 1.0 with 68k/FSH/12 months MoT that we had been to view, for £550
