Like i said i have fitted them to all my Cosworths and they are on my 3DR at the moment

I think it is more a case of Powerflex charging more for the name IMHO(Just like Samco)

You will not be dissapointed with the Rally Design/Polysport ones

Ryan , son listen to your dad

alot of peeps think having metal to metal on the car makes it's a horbile drive , that is a misconception ......ever since i have gone metal to metal you wouldn't belive how tight the car feels to drive on the rd or track ...the supension is just right for both jobs I E : it's not too hard for either ..........it took me 3 to 4 times to get the car right the way i wanted it and i am chuffed to bits with it

I'd go with what Brom suggests.

I polybushed the front end of my car, and I reckon unless you're a track driver, you wouldn't notice the difference between poly and new Ford rubber.

I love all these people who go on about how the polybushes tightened up the handling of their car, when the old rubber ones were 15 years old and perished

Richard, I am no track driver, I can't do a sequence of conrners without doing it sideways half of the time and I am pretty sure Powerflex does work. I've seen that on Imprezas (great effect) and shockingly good effects on Cossie front, although I still need to fit my rear beam poly mounts and check how they do.

I am interested though opn opisnion on uniball -> metal to metal connections on road car. I'm thinking about getting some bling stuff from Broom but will this be ableto bdo lets say 20000km's every year on road? Will the suspension or the chasis (or me) fall apart?

Get Powerflex ones from Chris Cossymad. I've got all of them fitted exept for rear beam munts that go in in few days and it's much better over standard.

Didn't have a chance yet. Just recently got them from cossymad and the others for rear Ijust bought form local tuner who happened to have ordered something wrong and got Cossie stuff.

Wonder if I could fit the beam ones without dissassembling whole rear.

Mr C

it does help , I have an early GRP A round beam solid mounted with rose jointed gravel spec trailing arms with Bilstein 909 magnesuim gravel spec coilovers with 16" springs ,rose jointed (top and bottom) one to the top of the turet and the other to the bottom of the traling arm

basically the back end dose not move at all , so that means the suppension has to work 100% properly

when you have got rubbers these move about so what happens the suppesion doesn't work that well because of movement

poly bushes do tighten up the car and they are better than standard ones

i have had all these set ups, i wouldn't ever got back to rubbers tobe honest

since have this set up the cars handles and turns in very well that i don't get any understeer at all ..i have took a few peeps out in the car since having the car set up and they were impressed for a rwd car

I have to admit that the cars is on it's limits for being a rd car this is why i will NOT go compression struts /Grp a ARB with drop links to the TCA's

some of you might think i bet the car i hard on the rd... it's not it's no worse than before when the car hits a bump the suppension absorbes the shock because it has the right springs for the right ride height and for the right (dyno spec) damping of the coilover this is where it gets tecnical LOL...

cheers Marco

Rich, I see what you're saying especially with 3dr's and Sapph's, but as far as EsCos' go, having had brand new front bushes fitted & tried, then putting uprated ones on it makes a HUGE difference.

This was on my previous EsCos - the guy I brought it off had actually had the antiroll bar and all front bushes replaced because of some movement/slack. When I bought it off him, I had the bushes done (Grp N, so not even poly ones), and let him have a drive - he was a bit sick
