well, i bought a can of holts plastic primer, it came with the white cap and the code on the bottom of the can matches the cap, but it sprays clear, like laquer. Is this what its suppose to do, as i was expecting it to be coulered in the way steel primer is.

Mate of mine always used to splash a tiny bit of colour in his to see where he'd been Bit tricky with an aerosol though

I dont think its that difficult, you will see that its gloss once sprayed until its dries out

thanks for the replies lads, i can bare it without the colour, but i see it having no effect as being a primer... is there a need for it??
