bought some new rims, im not sure i like them. from certain angles, i think they dont look bad, other angles, i think WTF. there defo a bit bling bling and in your face. now, the common consensus seems to be, from people who have seen them in the flesh, is 50/50, they either like them, or dont, so there marmite i think.
at first i thought uurrrggghhhhh but then the more i looked at them the more they grew on me
Aye, at first, when i put them on, i stepped back, looked, and thought, WTF have i done, but then i looked at it from different angles, and i thought, actually, it looks canny. ive had them on 24 hours now, and there defo starting to grow on me, but im still not sure tbh.
I think they look ok mate and i prefer them to the wheels in your sig
i think taking them off when they were all black, and blended with the car, and putting on bigger, bling bling rims, is the main reason im having trouble coming to terms with them, one set blended, the other are the complete opposite, and stand out like a sore prick. i only give peanuts for them, its not like ive spent decent money on them, and im out of pocket, so its not the end of the world.
thats a sore subject rich. i didnt buy them, i went and tried them on, agreed to buy them a week later when i had all the money together. phoned the lad on the monday tea time, had all the money, arranged to pick them up tuesday. then monday night before i went to bed, go in the kitchen, and my bastard washer had leaked all over the kitchen floor, so a new washer and flooring later, i didnt have the money for the 19's, was wounded tbh, as they were spot on.
Look cheap and tacky, all black centers would go along way tho there's a nice dish on them
Brilliant minds. thats exactally what ive been thinking. as its only the face of the chrome spokes that are chrome, the sides of the spokes are black, i was thinking, paint them black, so the whole centre of the wheels is black, and leave the rim/dish chrome. tbh, the dish is there saving grace, when i look at them from the angles where i think there ok, its always when the dish is most visable.
I actually quite like them in the first and third pics, not so sure abotu them in the others though.
the conclution ive come to mark is, its all about the dish, when you can see how deep it is, they look ok, when you look at from angles where the spokes are more visable, especially the chrome spokes, thats when it looks dubious. side on, isnt a good look at all.
