Ford Escort Window Switch
First time poster so i hope people out there can help me on this.
One of the switches in my Ford Escort doesnb't seem to work anymore (think its a loose wire as i have to jiggle the wires to get it to work, not very practicle when you have to go across the Dartford bridge twice a day) to operate the electric window of my drivers side door. I've taken the cover off around the gear stick and got at the switches and removed the switch (cut the wires as i could not for the life of me remove the connectors)
Attached is a photo of the portion of switch. Does anyone know where the best place to get on of these is? I've tried typing the codes on the side of the switch (ES88A and 91AG14489JGA) into google but have had no luck trying to find anything that matches
Is the best place to get a new one direct from Ford? Also if anyone could suggest how to get the connectors out of this in future without cutting the wires that would be handy (incase the other side decides to go)

Cheers

Welcome in mate
There will be nothing wrong with your switch, the problem will be that there is loss of contact in the terminal
What to do is remove the switch and clean the inside of the Bullet conectors inside the switch with a small file and close them up a tad so that they make a good conection with the loom side of the conection which will also need the same treatment.
That should sort you issues out and get the windows working again
