I worked for the vw branch of arnie c's in jordanhill and greenock bit of hire drive stuff then i went into the parts dept. Arnold used to show up weekly and be a right old prick. In the end i got sacked for rolling a customers car well they bought it but hadn't picked it up they couldn't get that model and colour so the customer got an upgrade and a years free insurance lol

I'm a computer programmer, I work for a consultancy who then pimp me out to whoever, currently I mainly write online finance quotation software for a couple of major car companies, although ive also been doing some stuff recently for an oil company too for document management and rather randomly for the national trust, and I have a part time job as a freelance motoring journalist.
Previously I used to program power station control systems and oil, gas, electricity and water distribution networks, which TBH I should have stayed in as its a lot more stable industry! And I also worked programming for a couple of mobile phone companys for a while too.

Quite fancy a total change next though, maybe a PGCE or something

special needs,, the department that tales a day to reply to emails and the usual reply is " contact product manager for correct part number and get back to me"

fucking HATE that department dicking about between them and the "product managers who most dont have a clue or give a shite,,,,, was just a fucking nightmare and so many special orders where lost due to this crappy system in place

guy calls up for a part,, takes 24 hours to get a reply and tell them it will be there in another 2 days,,,,,, the blokes usual reply was " oh, sorry mate i got one elsewhere, fitted it and the car went out last night"

oh and back when you was there think porsche team was just outside chris barellas office, then it went up to "general population" then we was sent into ANOTHER office with accounts department where we had to be quiet and professional,,,,, so i left pmsl
