Yes another poxy Iphone question. Do you know when T mobile will be releasing it? AS interested to know when they will release price Tariff.

Any with vodafone? as to be honest they seem to be offering a better deal than O2. Just i have never been on their network.

All the tariffs are similier and so is the phone price. Main difference Ive found is the "Limited usage policy" of each company. O2 seem the lowest @ 500mb for the £35 tariff, with others like orange at 750mb.

T Mobile will be launching on the 24th my Mrs was told as O2 are not selling to anyone NOT already on an O2 tariff till end of July.

I'm 12 months through my 3GS contract, so another 12 months to go. However, I have unlimited 3G on my current contract, just sold my 3GS for £435, so will just buy the iPhone4 on PAYG, cut my SIM up and use that in it.

Then in 12 months, sell my iPhone4, have £450 in my back pocket and get the iPhone5 or whatever on a fresh contract.

I bought my missus a 1st gen iPhone for £150 around Christmas, they are still going for around that.

Its anything Apple though. Even Macbook pro's that are years old still fetch similar money as to what they were new!

Thats why I will buy an iPad as well, cos come 12 months when the iPad 2 comes out, I'll still get pretty much all my money back!

Will have a nosey in a sec mate Someone told me the other day the HTC EVO will be better than the IPHone. I watch 3 videos on it and it did everything the IPhone did, so wasn't that impressed. Watch one video on FaceTime and decided to get the IPhone

Thats one of the reasons I bought a MacBook Pro If I didn't get the Macbook and the IPhone 4 I would of got the IPad for net browsing at home

I don't mind as I am on O2 It helps current customer's and will piss new customer's off, but they are trying to show loyalty to the old customers and new customers will think "I will join O2 and get it first next time" but they will have to wait now

Just had a look. Is it me or does it look 95% similar to an IPhone? and does 95% what an IPhone does? I like the scribble thing, which it guesses what words your typing but I would still prefer the IPhone as everything else just seems to copy it

I'm on o2 and very happy with them but missus is on vodaphone and I must say she gets far better coverage than me and very similar bills so it's much of a muchness really.as for the phone the only crap thing is the camera,I just can't imagine what it would be like without it now,it's awesome.there's really hardly any difference between 3g and 3gs although I've been told it's because mine is a late 3g.

Yep, thats what most the phones are now. You look at them and instantly go "That's like the IPhone"

Yeah not the best signal but even when im on 1 bar i can hear the person perfectly and ive never had anyone saying they cant hear me or asking me to repeat anything, so even with 1 bar its fine.

And im talking 3G signal, if it cant find a 3G signal then it goes to 2G or whatever it is and its almost a full signal then.

Never really had a problem where i cant get a signal at all to be honest.

I guess it depends where you live, but 3 are meant to have the best coverage

it may copy the iphone but it does a better job of it.
it has a better camera with hd video function
the screen is amazing quality with the amoled
it is a 4 inch display but the phone is exactly the same sze as a iphone
android runs faster than the i phones system
there are plenty of apps available and they are all free unlike apple's
it can bluetooth with any device unlike the iphone
it will support java and other downloadable programs so you can watch things like you tube properly

it seems like apple were the market leaders with their technology a few years back but have stood still while the others have caught up and passed them. unless apple stops holding back i think they may start to lose sales

unless you just want one for the name/brand image

What do they do better than the IPhone?
Better camera, have you seen the IPhone 4 has 5mega pixels and hd recording?
The retina display on the IPhone 4 is apparently one of the best out there?
4inch display would be nice for videos, but not important.
I only download free apps and if you jailbreak it all apps are free.
What do you need bluetooth for? to send music or picture files to your friends, email the pictures and tell them to pay for their own MP3's.
The YouTube app works fine on my IPhone? Some Java things don't work, which can be annoying, but nothing of importance to me.

Im open for having a better phone than the IPhone, but nothing has beaten it yet IMO.

Spoke to T-mobile and was informed of the tarriff, if you want the new i-Phone for nothing it wil be £45 a month for 24 months, if you only want to pay £35 a month your looking at a phone cost of around £200
Was told the HTC desire is the dog wotsits and is only second to the I-phone so worth a look
