Depends what kind of a car you want as a daily. Evo 9's are very very lovely cars inside and out though. Close mate has one and it is a proper proper weapon. Goes like absolute fucking stink and is comfortable-ish obviously won't be as comfy as an M3. Different types of cars really M3 will have more comfort and toys I would think, Evo more of a driver's car.

I personally wouldn't want to use an Evo everyday unless you do very little miles. E46 M3 gets my vote

M3 mate, far beeter build quality, far better all rounder, and in my eyes a far better car

Heres mine

Fucken great cars mate and want for nothing.

Plus you dont get the urge to tune them like a turbo charged car.

Good luck whatever you decide

M3 for me, Evo is just to uncomfortable and cheap in comparison.

Far better daily drive.

Now if it was a mega handling modifiable supercar slayer you was after i would go with the evo.

I chose the M3 too. The facelift has a longer boot handle and LED rear lights. The M3 is a very nice daily driver, it has enough equipment to be nice to drive without being too minimal but if you want fun that is on tap without thinking about it. I still like evo's but when it came to spending my money it was M3 all the way.

Never seen cars hold value as well as a CSL but for a daily can't really be a CSL can it has to be full fat M3.

If you just want a daily car, comfortable etc etc, then I would say get the beemer. If you want a car that is comfortable, goes like stink but always puts a smile on your face then get the EVO.

I had an EVO 8 and it was a lovely car to drive... fook me was it quick and thirsty.

I think the e46 looks dated but would make a better daily drive than the Evo. If you can get a decent v10 m5 for 20k Id go for that over the Evo or the m3. I very much doubt you'll get one that's not catd or been for a trip to the moon and back at that price though. Also think about maintenence the Evo is serviced every 6 months or 4500 miles so an m3 will be easier to live with just depends if you want a car that every other fuckers got just my opinion thought about an rs6?

I'm not saying they aren't nice cars and very very capable, I really do like them. They seem to be far more common round here than m3's though, but not the reason I would choose the m3 though for a daily.

Well ive just sold my e46 m3 which i was using as a daily driver as i got so bored! They really arent that fast and its quite embarrassing what modern diesels do to them in a straight line.

After i sold it i was looking into evo 8/9s but went for a TVR instead as i really dislike the sound of turbo cars
