Look it up on Google mate. Lots of info can be found on there. I must say if you have a track car it's well worth having it done by someone who knows what they are doing.

Troy@ Northampton motorsport, as said well worth doing even for a road car if you have coilys etc.
It's to try and get ideally each corner(wheel) of the car to exert the same pressure/weigh the same, not always 100% possible due to various reasons but getting the areas as equal across side to side and 50/50 front to rear bias is the goal, with coilys the spring can be wound up down to add/remove pressure seen by that wheel.

You'll struggle getting 50/50 front rear balance. Cross weights are the goal. I.e RF and LR equal to LF and RR

i've been quoted Ł50 plus vat per hour for corner weighting at Roll Centre in St Ives (cambs), depends on the type of car as to how long it would take.

probably best to have it done with a full 4-wheel alignment.

my problem is i have some ICE in the car (boot install and heavy front door builds) which i will be taking out for track and sprint use, so i dont know whether to get it corner weighted with the ice in or out.

Ł50 an hour is about average, will take 3-4hrs depending on access and how freely movin everything is.
As said should do geo at the same time if you want it just right, allow similar money.

had my race car corner weighted the other week. the difference was superb and i really mean it i could turn in around angelsey a lot easier. because we dont run coilovers we had to put spacer plates above the top mount to distrubute weight.

Take all your shit out as you would for a sprint or track day and then do it....it will be out when you load it back in, and not as sharp but just be sensible on the road and it will serve you right on the track where you will really need it.

As Dan said we have it in the next issue of Fast Ford.

we still have ur dog bowl on the shelf

id like to add corner weights helps a fair amount but to make it all right a full geometry setup is the key with it
