whats needed to fit PAS on a mk4 escort then?

dont be a pussy thats what old knackers are about..jokes aside, personally i wouldnt bother. ive drove a mk4 with factory pas, and it wasnt even that light to be honest..parts are getting old now unless you get recon for a small fortune so chances are if you buy ford bits it wont be that great..i did see a set up on ebay a few years back for a mk3/4, and they had used a peugeot rack etc..not 100% sure which model..maybe that would be better if you want it light as the parts would possibly be newer and had less use

ive got pas from a a corsa the same as any galagher used on his focus (i think) it doesnt feal too bad

ford never made the parts used on the factory fit mk4 pas

they used a peugeot rack at the factory !!!

think it was the 405 rack iirc
