clutch for mtx75 fwd box?????
hi, ive fitted a mtx75 box into my mk1 fiesta zetec turbo. The gearbox is out of a 1.8 mk6 escort cab.
i will be running around 300 bhp possibly more, and need a clutch that will take it. I would prefer a normal clutch over a paddle as i know the mtx clutches can take a fair bit of power.........
any ideas ?
do focus rs clutches fit the older non hydrallic mtx's?

I have a helix 220mm paddle clutch (RSTurbo escort) with a modified spline drive on the clutch plate to suit the Mtx box.
I know you don't want a paddle but even the best clutches are going to struggle at that power level. My paddle is fine at well over 400bhp do far and is not heavy although I do run a modified peddle box with the pivot points changed to give more leverage on the pedal. I run a cable clutch with z box from a RS2000 mk5 escort
