I'm trying to get some paint for my black S2.

I've looked at my slam panel, my VIN plate has no colour section on it! The other plate says ' BLACK 07F'

Does anyone know if this is the right code, as the suppliers dont seem to have any idea??!!

I'd love to mate!! Its sat on axle stands with no matching coloured panels!!! Otherwise I would of.

if it has no matching panels why you need code ,just get a ford solid colour black
as you'l have do it all neway id check code for you but me books dont go back that
far you rang ford with chassie number ?

helpful. i carn't for the life of me remember the old black name

For the Capris it was 'A' for a straight black which I think is the same
