Default escort rs turbo s2 clutch advice

Hello peeps i have a standard clutch on my escort rs turbo s2 which is on its way out its runing 155bhp. What sort of power can a standard clutch take is it 170bhp. Thinking of puting in a new standard one dont want one that is to harsh to put your foot to the floor if you know what i mean any advice let me know.

It's not the power , it's the torque you need to be mindfull of. If you go with a new standard one make sure it's a good one. To be honest I would spend a bit more and fit something like an AP Organic kit as these are good in use and you have scope to tune further should you wish and not be worried about the clutch being a weak link
