as from aprill this year i have been advised that i need a waste carriers licence to collect cars even if there good or scrap , has anybody else on here been told this or have i been given wrong info , been on enviroment agancy site but cant find any direct links

Can't see you needing it for cars that are to be used on the road again, but more than likely for scrap ones.
You may have to be registered because you are quite likely to carry scrap cars not because you actually do.
It's a minefield carrying waste, you'd be better off phoning the Environment agency.
