Default upgrading std sierra brakes to cos 4 pots?

Are the 2wd cossie 4 pots a straight swap onto the standard 2wd sierra hubs (2.0 injection model)? Using the cossie discs also. If not what is involved in making them fit?

Bought a set for a kit car you see. thanks in advance

They'll probably fit, but the standard servo isn't man enough to operate them. If the car you're fitting them to has ABS, you shouldn't have a problem. If it doesn't, you'll have a very spongy pedal and not alot of braking action.

I remember reading somewhere that the one to look for is the servo from a 2.8i XR4i, but I'll check.

(Seconds later...)

You need the servo from a non-ABS Sierra with rear discs (they do exist!).

Thanks for the replies.

What is the relevance of having/not having ABS then? The car is an MK indy, the donour was a 1988 2.0 injection sierra but not sure about ABS. Our brakes are not servo assisted.

Are you saying our master cylinder (as opposed to servo) isnt up to the job though?
