Am looking to spend about £10,000 on a Z4 and don't wanna get ripped off and have been reading about the HPI guarantee. Gonna buy from a dealer but the guarantee seems to suggest that as long as you go through everything on thier checklist and have the HPI check done before you buy then you are covered up to loss of £30,000 if the vehicle turns out to be stolen.

Does this sound correct?

My main worry was accidentally buying a ringer so wanna make sure i'm not out of pocket.

nobody know anything about the old guarantee> or if anybody has ever claimed successfully on it?

If a car turns out to be stolen you can also claim from the dealer.

 

got a nice one in the garage i use at the moment; decent price too
