Default Is it worth lowering my focus rs?

Got a mark 1, was wondering if its worth looking at lowering it before the my ring trip? love the look and would love to drop my focus a but don't want to compromise the handling as its spot on.

any ideas would be spot on.

A set of H&R lowering springs definitely improve things at the expense of a slightly harsher ride but not by much. If you do decide to lower it, fit the camber adjust bolts at the rear and the front top camber mounts, then get it set up properly. Will cost about £100 to get it done.

I lowered my old st170 with eibach springs (supposed to be the best on the market) and it totally fucked it up. Ride was terrible, crashed through all the pot holes, could feel every bump in the road, really wish I didn't bother.

I had the same on my 1.8 Focus with Eibachs, made a hell of a bang over the smallest dips and bumps in the road. the bottom of the radiator was a right state by the time I sold it on where id caught it on the road
