V6 cougars in any colour did not sell well over here mk II even less of them ,good car wrong engine spec should all have had st200 engines and had a bit of an odd ball look too ,not so odd now but 10 years ago yes .
good one and the racing puma things not sure what thare called was a limited run allso ?
Yes the Ford Racing Puma was limited to just 500 cars and quite a few of them have been written off
There cant be that many quality examples left, probably less than 1/2 i would of thought
MK1 Fiesta Sport(Not supersport)That i got over on the isle of man not seen another one in a long time
I have one sitting at the back of my unit that i intend to do something with in the next while
Mk1 transit limo pick up with Turbo 3ltr Essex only 3 made by Ford for transporting there formula 2000 cars back in the early seventies they were fully loaded with spax coilovers and everything my mate picked one up and Banger raced it!
"Mondeo ST200 in white, a few hatches and estates about (only produced for the police)"
not so sure about policew only as I hired one....
I drove my self to my wedding in a white Mondeo ST200 and made very good time ... left late as I couldn't find any shoe pollish in the house I was staying and still managed to arrive the near 60 miles to the stately home early!
fantastic drive even if it did wallow a bit in the corners (not a problem with a FRST).

Originally billed for 1000 units the FRP failed to sell very well as it was priced to high. Out of the 500 or so made a fair few went to Ford Managers etc. Only 80 or so were fitted with the factory LSD, my old 441 was such a car

The FRP is an awesome little car,
correct me is I am wrong, I was under the impression that the FRP as you said was originally planned for 1000 cars, to be split equally between the UK & the German market (500 each) however, due to one thing or another the 500 cars destined for the continent were never made.
The only FRP's in existence were the 500 UK cars, and quite a few of those 500 have expired. Very very rare now IMO, and surely appreciating in value.
As said absolutely awesome little car I was looking for one vut could not find the 'right' example in the end and ended up with a normal 1.7.
Only one replica 1700t on record! One grey s1! 40 g reg xr2 mk2 apparently only a handful left! Moondust silver frst only 8 left!
Pretty certain the grey s1 was bought as a White one, fully stripped by the dealer and then sent back to ford to be painted grey?therefore not being a factory special.
Apparently ford sve have made some cracking transits, there's one with a dfv Cossie motor in it,a few with a twin turbo 3.7 diesel lump, they'd be fun in the traffic light grand prix.
Gloss black saph cossie 2 wheel drive, Heard of 52 made and 12 were right hand drive, not sure if this is correct but would be good to find out as have mine tucked up in the garage.
Yep, Ford Australia did a 4 door nosecone version, they also built 2 litre pinto versions of normal L and GL versions, my uncle wrapped his around a tree back in 1982

I live and learn. And we thought we were clever when we were doing these back in the day.
