Bump for the lunch time surfers, come on guys.

(Just want to say, sorry for pushing this, but it's close to my heart - hope I'm not annoying anyone with the bumps).

Cheers

Just got it, thanks Chris - we're really on a roll now.

Will be posting pictures etc up here next week, as well as screenprint of all donations received and showing it being sent over from PF - will be sending it as a gift myself and covering the costs on top of my contribution.

I was considering matching whatever I raised from you guys but I'm hoping I won't be able to afford it haha.

Hehe - just want to thank Dave Thompson - not sure of your PF username; "I suppose I can have 10 pints next Saturday instead of 12 - here's a fiver".

Appreciated

Hi guys, just a quick update, got a few £'s coming through still.

I think someone mistrusted me somewhere along the line and approached Mia's brother to alert him to the fact that someone was collecting money on her behalf. Not a problem anyhow as he contacted me, but allows me to give you some brief updates;

Firstly, I have a published address for sending any cheques, as I have had someone wanting to send a cheque. They should be made payable to;

Richard Williams

and sent to;

Mia Austin c/o Richard Williams
Clatterbridge Hospital Neurological Ward
Clatterbridge Road
Bebington
Wirral
CH63 4JY

I think I told you that following an email to all my business contacts, a local contractor came forward and offered to carry out the works to the Austin family home FOC - that is still going ahead with them working with architects finalising the plans and working the (slow) process to get planning permission. They are getting there though.

Following is a quote from the email;

"It was right at £100 a trip home in the private ambulance. However, with the great response from everyone and lots of other fundraising activities going on, the Austin family have been able to purchase a specialised car with which they are able to take Mia out of hospital on short journey's in her wheelchair. They got it a week ago, and it's been amazing for them already.

cheers for all your continued support"

So every little does help and it's people seeing the cause and feeling they can donate a little that this has been made possible.

Cheers

Alex

Oops sorry I donated on the totaliser page rather than the email address above, but all goes to the same place in the end, wasn't intentional, but your right it COULD have been someone trying to make money, whoever contacted her brother did do the right thing really, no one knows anyone from Adam on the net, better to be safe than sorry - well done for your efforts, very devasting situation for Mia and her family

I agree - doesn't matter where you donated. All into the same pot.

Could you do me a favour and PM me with your email address/name/amount so that I can send a quick note over.

Cheers

Imagine Northwester, 3am, trying to sleep but unable to. Knowing that in a few hours he is expected to climb the 3 highest peaks in the UK.

Imagine him going out of him mind, just wanting to go to sleep, to catch some rest, please let me sleep.

I just can't - and as I type I have just over 4 hours left to try and sleep. Never going to happen.

Please help me out and donate, please?

£1? You've spent that on nothing tonight, if you dropped it by accident you wouldnt even bother to pick it up.

Please donate, this is the last message I will post on the subject.

Paypal is mfm@alexbergh.co.uk

Bank transfer details available on request.

Please?

Have a good weekend all.

Al
