im not really a ford enthusiast but dont shoot me, i just like cars that are fun to drive, go and handle well and i especially hate cars with gadgets that do all the driving for you,

anyway i may possibly having an escort series 1 rs turbo, i currently have a celica st205 gt-four which has been a real delight to own

i did some work for some serious ford nuts last week and i havent been able to stop looking at series 1's and my mate has one and said do you fancy swapping cars, his has a fully forged efi conversion and on outside inspection is very clean but im taking it to the guys i did work for tomorrow to have a look as they know there fords for sure.

anyway hope to become abit of an enthusiast as i do end up one of all the cars ive owned with different badges, and hope to make some meets.

cheers
jim

the ford nuts in question are justaffords aswell they are top blokes up there and would reccommend them to everyone on here.

nice saphire aswell, ive never really considered myself a ford fan but when i look theres alot i like the cosworth's, the rs's, even the new st's. when i 1st passed my driving test i was a vauxhall man i had loads up till about 20 when i discovered the saying "once you leave vauxhall you come back" was untrue lol.

cheers lads fingers crossed we seal the deal tomorrow if were both happy with the swap, i will miss my gt4 bigstyle but the rs is cheaper to insure by a huge amount and with tough times its an expense i cant afford to pay out every month if ive hardly earned, but at the same time theres no way im giving up my love of performance cars, and the rs seems a good option.
