Default car comparison

Hello,

maybe someone can help me a bit.
At the moment I am really thinking about to sell my saffcos and replace it
with a nice escort mk2 rs2000.
But I also want it pretty fast, well, at least as quick as my 300bhp saff.

So what kind of bhp do I need in a Mk2 to keep up with the saff??

Thanks a lot

iam thinking the same myself, dont know weather track the saph, or get a tarmac arched mk2 escort, but the more i think about it, the daft prices of a mk2's, means losing the power, and comfort of the saph! ideal world, would be escos everyday car, and then a nice YB'd mk2 project!!

the prices are really giong over the top at the moment. A RS2000 is almost twice as much as I pay for a saff

But I love them MK2, had one a few years back, and I want one again...

do you intend to change the engine on the mk 2? personally i would just increase the power of the saff to keep you happy
