Radiator and FMIC positioning?
I am just in the process of positioning a FMIC and radiator. Now i am sure i have seen someone mention that its best to run the FMIC and radiator less than 5mm apart?
Any one got any opinion or experience of various ways?

Mine are on top of each other no gap with the fans in front if the fmic only way to get good enough air flow to keep running temperatures down.

I was thinking of doing FMIC, fan then the rad but i am sure i have seen that ProAlloy say the best way to do it is with the FMIC and the rad very close together.

rick the reason why they say to have them less than 4-5mm apart imo is to try and limit the amount of air lost out of the gaps, the air will always take the path of least resistance so by placing them closer together the air has no option but to pass through the fmic and the rad. if you could seal the 4 sides it would have to pass though both
