awsome birmingham btcc street race vid
found this on the rsocbb, what a cool vid anyone else remember the mad races they used to have round birmingham city centre?? 
loads of RS500's, andy rouse steve sopher and a load more
beware though 36MB but well well worth it!

i was there when those races were on ,also went to the f1 test laps and the f3 races there ,but the btcc was the best, the noise was fantastic and the cars were just awsome because it was all enclosed by buildings in the back streets the cars looked to be flying ,pity they dont come back to the streetsof brum, was a fantastic day out

ive been in that car round donnington ,it belongs to andy lloyd, ive been to his house a few times and the car is still in the barn next to his house, thats a well sorted ex touring car

Wasn't it an Ex Dick Johnson racing car ran in a BTCC buy Cartel I think?
I also got a interview with Dave Brodie when he got DQ'd for using illegal fuel. Funny as fook!

correct simon its still got the dick johnson 0001 on the chassis plate quite a rare car now ,i will be speaking to andy soon i will see what he is going to do with it ,i did ask him once if he wanted to sell it got a firm no way

andy loyds car is the 87 dick johnson car, he sold two cars to mike smith and rob gravetts trackstar team,
rob built new cars for 90 and had mountune do the engines, he used the johnson car as a base and worked from there useing a lot of johnson ideas,
the main reson gravett was so good in 90 was the different make tyres he was useing,
andy loyds car is currently beeing rebuilt and he tells me it will not be done for quite a while as he busy with other stuff, and he will finish it in the original johnson red with the shell grafics,
my ex btcc tim harvey car is in the birmingham video,
