Default MOTs now at M-Tech (Wiltshire) JUST £30!

Hi everyone,

Sorry havent been on here much, been manic busy!

Just to let you all know that MOTs are now available at our site (we have just had a brand new Boston MOT bay installed!) and I am pleased to offer them to you all for £30 with free retest if anything is repaired by us at a reduced mechanical labour rate of just £40/ph (if its things like a lightbulb and a blocked washer jet, we're not going to charge you an hours labour, if we charge at all... Most of you have met me/dealt with me in person and know that I see M-Tech not only as a business but more importantly as a social/way of making freinds and meeting like minded people and anywhere we can help we always try!).. Power Runs are £30 as well if carried out at same time....

Our Master-tech Tim has been testing for 20 something years, and he understands modified cars and the correct leglislation for emmission testing etc for those with different engines to chassis etc, basically he's a tuner at heart as well so won't take one look and because its modified try and fail it on silly things out of spite/jelousy.... (we've all met testers like it....) and he will also take care of the car rather than jacking it up on a sideskirt (again something I have had happen to me!)

Call us to book in: 01373 30 30 33

Our address is:
41B Main Street, West Wilts Trading Estate, Wiltshire, BA13 4JU

Nice one,

Cheers chaps yes should definatley be a step in the right direction. At least now when finalising a map I can guarentee it will pass an emissions test as we have the correct machine to confirm it on! (Applys more to kit cars getting ready for their IVA but definately useful as a tool in itself!) We';re also going to use it on our kit car to set up the brake bias as we will be taking it round combe this weekend... woop!

Matt

I thought that you got a free retest anywhere? Even if you take it offsite? (within 7 days or whatever it is) And then if it fails again then its chargable?

No mate..

Most places offer a free re-test within 7 days as an incentive for you to have the work done by them should it fail.

Garages that only do M.O.T's have nothing to gain from failing your car so they tend to be a little more expensive and dare I say it, a little more lenient..

Shame you guys are 100 miles away

Big-Dan.

Ah yes my bad.

http://mottesting.org.uk/mot-retest-...tion-fail.html

The places I've been must have been pretty nice then, as i've took mine off site to get fixed and sent it back for a free retest.
