Personally i thought it looked better with the Saph wheels than the Escos wheels. Escos wheels look fine on an Escos but not on a Saph. Nice to see it going out the shop better than when it came in though.

I really enjoyed it TBH.
Always nice to see something like a Cosworth get some air time on telly and was good to see it looking so much better after some time and money.
Dont think id have paid £4K for it in the condition it was in though but it did come up well in the end.

But i ponder the brakes for 380 400 bhp on standard wheels
And the clutch also seem to be a issue for £250

Fair enjoyed that - was light entertainment at the end of the day 
Plenty of little "errors" in it for the die hard enthusiasts to mull over though
BUT at least Edd did the right thing in getting the bumper painted properly, the head refurbished elsewhere and the gearbox done properly too instead of attempting to bodge them all up himself
Did anyone spot the rust and rot where the floorpan seams are under the rear seats just infront of the rear beam when he was taking the propshaft off?
One last credit to Edd is that he fair knows how to use a machine polisher - that car looked very dull when it arrived for work doing and left with the paint looking show-room fresh!

fat mike says nice genuine car!!! thats why it is 2wd not 4wd,the owner had not long give it a full engine rebuild yet it smokes like a cunt,boot spoiler did not have a black lip,bonnet sits 2 low on drivers side,big ed china sands the bumper with the fog lights still fitted and they took of the escort cosworth alloys and fit lattice ones,and fat mike gives a set of escort cosworth alloys and £300 for a set of sets and a wank steering wheel.and after ed fits the new head gasket him and fat mike start spanking it down a track

some people on here have to get a grip, its a tv show we should be happy to even watch a cossie on the tv, then ye get fussy people that is on slagging the car, after all it is someone elses car just now that your are slagging, some people on here wouldnt like it if there car was getting stick like this,

Exactly what i was thinking. I've yet to see a car on there that doesn't sell but as mentioned by a few others it's only a bit of light hearted entertainment (with a lot of bullshit & behind the scenes work thrown in). I'm sure i once came across a website that was selling about 4 or 5 ex Wheeler Dealer cars - bit of a coincidence when they all supposedly get bought by different people.

In the end the car looked good thats all that counts most cossies of that age are not going to be in showroom condition and if they are then they cant be daily drivers

It's a TV program, short and sweet and doesn't resemble anything like real life, why are you all taking it so seriously.
If most people actually interrogated all of what they read in the papers/online and saw on the TV, in the way this has been pulled apart, we wouldn't see half the problems we do in life, again, it's just TV, it's not real life, please understand the difference.
We all know what goes in to making a car nice, I for one do not want to sit and watch someone rub down and prep a bumper on the TV for an hour, or how many hours of labour are not charged for by Ed, or how many additional costs are not covered by this program, it's just TV, by the way, regardless of what your Mrs might think, Eastenders isn't real either!!
