Default Cossie Exhausts, choices??

ive just come back from a drive in the 3dr, and noticed the exhaust is blowing now from underneath the car. So what choices have i got as a replacement? I would really like a standard system, but where can you get them from? what other makes are quiet, but look kinda like the ford one. If not, what are the other choices?

Also, im having my car Stg 1 chipped tomorrow, will this make a difference in mapping/setting it up?

Thanks a lot,
Mike.

mongoose, magnex, scorpoin, there are quite a few more too.

Why not get a stainless one, lasts a lot longer too.

Will be a lot better with a performance exhaust on.

Ditch the standard system chap. Quick Fit etc will sell a mild steel system that is usually of poor quality and won't last. A performance exhaust made of stainless steel will only be a little noisier and will help the car in operation as well as lasting a hell of a lot longer

I've always been very pleased with Magnex systems although I use a Scorpion system on the RST with no complaints

Magnex gets my vote although their NOT available any more for the Cossie I'm led to believe and it all depends on where it's blowing from for 2morrow regarding performance levels

I have just bought a magnex cat back for mine, well pleased with it. Not too loud!
Just as another option, i heard of people fitting miltek exhuasts, don't know how good they are though or what the quality is like?

If your car is going for a "gunship" conversion you wanna get shot of the std exhaust anyway as it'll be soooo restrictive

If you can get a Magnex that will be your best bet (but only 2nd hand nowadays as they stopped making exhaust for Sierra Cossies years ago)..... RSNissan from here is thinking about selling his full Magnex from his 3dr so maybe worth a PM

Scorpion and Mongoose are quite loud in comparison and Miltek don't list an exhaust for the Sierra

whatever you do dont get a scorpian.....the bore decreases down to under 2 inch in the back box and will deffo lose power compared to goose and magnex.

I've got an extreme systemfrom Woodford, top exhaust and not very loud until you hit boost. Would deffo recommend em. A doddle to fit aswell cos they're flanged so you don't have to mess about lining the pipe up. Just bolt it together and away ya go
