I think it would seriously depend on the circumstances that it happened mate.. for instance, doing 150+ at 5pm through traffic and doing 150+ at 9pm on a deserted stretch of the M6 Toll would have a different outcome IMO.

Go on though, how fast are you 'theoretically' talking about G??

Cheers,
Grant

That would be the police gaining a succesful prosecution for "Dangerous Driving" not the offence itself of speeding. Typically anything over 120mph they try for the "Dangerous Driving" charge

as far as i am aware anything over 100mph is a ban. this can be contested if you need your liscence for work but you'll still be slapped with LOADS of points and HUGE fine!!

and dont go stupid on the m6 toll as loads of peeps think they can so plod is always around to catch you!!

depends on time/copper/conditions etc, i got caught doing 112mph average ( 137mph top ) and got 3 points and Ł60 fine lucky for me he was one of the decent ones and said had it not been nearly midnight with nothing on the roads it would have been very different

technically, the m6 toll is a private road, so there is no speed limit at all.

but i doubt you'd be let off on a technicality........

it is a private road but as its used by the public normal traffic laws apply.

seen loads being pulled and ticketed for speeding on the toll!

The RTA still applys on the M6 toll road, just as the RTA applys in most public accesable car parks.

as said dangerous driving is what you get for big speeds,,,,, they dont bother with the speed you was doing and they just arrest you aswell rather than report you

so say you were on a deserted motorway and travveling in excess of 200mph if you had a vehicle that could do it, would that be classed as dangerous?

as the way i see it, there is no law for 'driving like a cunt' but i dont personally think its dangerous if there is nothing else to kill around.

but if its empty and your flat out, its only dangerous if you bin it lol
