Default bleeding cooling system

the rad & cooling system on my saff seems to have an airlock somewhere. Every now and again it just gets overly hot for no reason.

Is there any tips to bleeding and refilling the cooling system (bought a swirl pot so im gonna do it soon)

One of the guys in work mentioned a tool that draper do that takes the air out of cooling systems, but i cant find it in the catalogue.

IS the draper tool the best to use or is there any better tips??

if it's got a 4x4 thermostat housing on, don't forget about the bleed screw there. If 2wd, just run it for a few mins without the pressure cap on - always does the job for me.
