Why do they get released at different times? it just doesn't make sense imo

But to answer your question... I heard it was 5th May for the MW2 map pack on PS3.

Its because microsoft paid for the priveladge of having them earlier than PC/PS3.

Although all the xbox fanboys say it isnt worth getting them! All except 2 are shit, and the 2 good ones are crash and overgrown, old cod4 maps.

I used to swear by my Xbox(I have both). Xbox live is brilliant, no one can deny that, but after buying MW2 for both machines I only ever play it on PS3, even after downloading the map pack for my Xbox. The controller is far easier for FPS games, it's perfect, and it's actually a superior machine when you think about it. Much better quality.

I also have access to both but only play the ps3 for mw2. I actually prefer the xbox controller too. It's the people that play mw2 on the xbox that piss me off. Always hiding and camping like cunts. At least most of the ps3 lot - with their sub standard equipment - know how to fight proper. Can have more of a laugh with them on the mics too.

Don't you have to pay to go online on an xbox?

'Sub standard equipment'. Lol

I know what you mean about the players! The annoying things about the PS3 chat is how loud it comes over at times. On the xbox the chat in general in the pre game menu seems to be pretty quiet, but on the PS3 you almost get your eardrums destroyed by screeching kids every time you finish a game.

Do you not find the Xbox controller is more difficult when it comes to single shot weapons that you need to fire at a fast rate? The triggers on the Xbox controller have way too much travel, whereas the PS3 you can just quickly tap? And I'm pretty sure you can't alter which of the top buttons you use for firing on the Xbox.

Jesus, I'm sounding geeky as fuck!

I have both consoles.
When it comes to online functionality the xbox wins in all departments.
Not only does microsoft use the online fee's to get the lastest software sooner, the xbox users also get them about £2 or £3 cheaper.
Also, if you are unsure of a game you can gaurantee there will be a demo 3 to 4weeks before release on xbox live.
Ps3......well the uncharted 2 demo was released 4 months after the game.
Also, playing games online using xbox's payed service the connection is always top notch. No lag or any of that rubbish
Ps3....borrowed AVP of a mate and I have yet to have a game online due to weak connection.

So with all this release date malarky, its like the old saying, "you get what you pay for". ( which now that think it about it doesnt really work, seeing as ps3's we're around £170 more than xbox360's )

Why not? Wireless N is great for gaming and streaming media.
