Do you want to transfer the recordings to another source?

You need firstly, a device that can capture a video and audio feed from an external device (the external device in this case being your Sky+ box). I would imagine most DVD recorders can do this.

Then you need to hook your Sky+ box upto the DVD-R box, usually via a scart cable (scart FROM the Sky+ scart output TO the scart input of the DVD-R box) Then you need to play the programme you have saved on the scart box and start the recording on the DVD-R box. Very much exactly the same as you used to do when recording from cassette to cassette or CD to cassette back in the old days.

As above mate just make sure you got the recorder set on an Aux channel for recording source. Your Sky+ has a transfr function so just use that mate and jobs done.
