luke had a small issue with the rear brakes, in the fact that they wereprety much locked on, still managed a 12.9 though i think with the brake lights on!!
I was camped right next to the wenny crew, it is true they are all mental, they ordered a replacement gearbox which arrived about midnight, fair play the began to swap them over and finish in the morning but I think the box they received just would fit, proper shame. Met Mr beef as well, top geezer
Simon's car actually moved the engine from its mounting on the first run :-( totally gutted for the crew but this car will be putting in some serious time this year thats for sure.
Got a chance to drive crazycage's car as well this weekend, in all honesty I couldnt wait to give him the keys back, the speed of it scared the living crtap out of me, especially when he took me out with him driving.
Met a load of new people/friends and had a great day, cheers everyone.

Good weekend, nicely tanned lol.
Yesterday didn't start well with Gary's car - mid 13's at 108mph. Some how the ECU was on a running in map. Changed the map, and it was onto 118 terminal, but still in the 13's. The gearbox is taking one run, and then pretty much locking out of gear making changes slow and difficult.
First run of the day today was a 12.8 at 122 then later 123. Not bad for a GT28 on just 20psi. There is plenty more power in it, but the box needs looking at first as it's costing way too much time.
Well done to Luke, Stu Collins and the crew with the Mk2 and Puma - awesome to have so many Fords in the 12's

I thought Stuarts car was epic, proper raw and looked like it was there to do a job, which it did. So pissed I couldnt get a lid as he was willing to let me be a passenger on one of the runs, next time hopefully.

Had a great day, got loads of pics to go through but they'll have to wait, up at 5 and away for 3 nights anyway, these were my 2 favourite cars, mini was cool as and the NMS sunbeam breaking traction more than half way up the strip gave away what its packing!!

The funny car was great to see, little one loved it. Best thing was there was a rather large bloke sat in front of us and when the afterburner pops started the first one made him jump and he broke the chair!!! and his wife made him squat there so as not to miss the car going up the strip!!!
More pics to follow.

Yeah me and a mate of mine were talking about that mark 2 fiesta too. didn't look like it was going to do what it bloody did. what spec, engine box ect and what was its best time of day? i seen it do a 12.6 because a remember jamsports escort turbo doing a 12.7 and thinking its going to be close with them 2. what was luca's best time in the trolley. i seen him do a 13.2.
Best time was 12.9 and best ET was 120 mph.
Few things need sorting but it runs
BIG WELL DONE TO THE BLUE MK2
Awesome picture mate many thanks
Had a few issues during the day, finished building the car at 9.30am yesterday and then arrived at Pod at half 12 to see how it went.
Rear brakes decided to stay on though due to dodgy master cylinder on pedal box, tried to crack the rear lines off and drop some fluid then bias all to the front but didnt work. Went for a final run and managed a 12.9 @118 with the brakes binding. Backed off over the line and didnt even to apply the brakes to slow to come off
All in all though the car was a gem.

Yes it's Alex, me and Clarke went up with him car is very quikc on the road. 3 degrees of camber and shitty Toyo tyres didnt help, he was pulling 2.2 60fts which isn't great. Car was dyno'd at 330bhp @ 20 psi.
Head work then 400 is the plan.
