Default mk1 sierra stereo adaptor

Hi. I am trying to locate a stereo adaptor for my mk1 cossie so i can fit a different stereo. I have the std Ford stereo in at the mo. When you take it out it has like an 8-pin Din plug and a rectangle connector. All the adaptors you can buy wont fit this.

Does anyone know where i can get one from.

Thanks.

i would wire the stereo diresct to the original wiring on the car you dont have to cut the plugs off to do so just trim the insulation back and solder the new stereos wiring on then re insulate

go to halfrauds and buy an iso adapter and wire that to your stereo

or

as stated wire it direct into your existing loom.

its a stereo - its not exactly the hardest thing in the world to sort.

Yeah i looked at those plugs but wont fit my stereo wiring. I have a DIN plug on the back and not just 2 block connectors so those wont fit.

U did say din plug!!!!
Ok if im right u may have a factory amp fitted. Usually in sum of the older fords they were above the pax kick panel behind dash/left of glovebox area.
I bypassed one in an car i once owned, if i remember right the other plug that u are missing is plugged into this amp(these will be the speaker output wires btw). You can still use the halford iso connector wiring but youll have to extend the wires to reach the amp(no need to cut original wiring)???
If no joy mate ignore what i said before its cut n shut time!!!
Hope this helps.
