touring cars is good but doesnt have the appeal of the mid 90's with mondeos, volvo 850's,lagunas,cavaliers ,pug 406's.they should call it now hot hatch touring cars lol

Plato should clear up this season with a manufacturer-backed rml team behind him. That said, Giovanardi has got a drive with a very experienced team, just a new set-up. Very sad state of affairs when our reigning champion ain't gonna be there to defend his crown though...

Ngtc comes on stream next season, but the engines can be used in eligible cars this season. That' what pinkney and jordan's vectras will be running.

I wouldn't rule out the Team AON Focus pairing!

They will be right up the front this year... Mountune-powered as per the end of last season, but now with a turbo!

Yep there's gonna be a lot of talk of that this year, TOCA gave them dispensation to run an NGTC spec turbo engined - only the Swindon built engines were supposed to be allowed this year.

its just a pity that the BTCC drivers think that barging the car in front out the way is seen as sporting.......more like cheating......at Brands Hatch last weekend there was 25 races over 2 days, i only went on sunday [14 races] with full grids, the races for E30 BMWs and Golf GTIs were both very well driven by total amateur drivers with little or no contact and very competitive throughout the field .......for £12 admission it was one of the most enjoyable days of motorsport i have ever been to

BTW there is no Cupra Cup anymore

rubbings racing!!!

you should see our championship vary rare for a car to come back after race without panel damage.

i smashed a front wing, rear bumper and front bumper and light at snetterton few weeks back.

by the way this is Stock hatch championship. and ment to be no contact

them ramming each other is the good part, non of this mambi pambi F1 style driving where they all spin off with a bit of water on the track

i agreee though, not quite as good as the 90's where the cars ran about 40 degrees of negative camber on the back and were slammed on their arses
