Here we go:
Important
I only insist on live mapping if you want 400s or larger. Standard injectors or Dark Greens can be done either Off The Shelf at our premises or as a DIY conversion with instructions and full telephone backup.
Approximate price guide as follows:
Ł250 inc vat for stage 2** chip and hardware that will make your Level 8 ecu lambda closed loop capable.
M18 x1.5 Steel Lambda boss fitting into downpipe: (Including SS boss) Ł40*
Bosch Lambda sensor Ł80*
Wiring up of lambda heaters and signal wiring to ECU plug with genuine ecu pins and wired to safety engine run relay etc Ł50
Providing you dont need any service parts or anything, then that should cover it. Full DIY kits are available for these stage 2** conversions, including injectors, 3 bar etc if required.
*If you have a turbine housing with integral Ford lambda boss, you can use a genuine Ford sensor instead, these are also available from stock at all times.
**our stage 2 is 803s, 3bar etc. Often known as a 330kit. We dropped the stage 2 (light green 355's) years ago.

evening peeps................
like i said earlier this conversion is awesome
as you can see in my sig i'm running T4, greys, low comp, air/air etc and
probally pushing out a easy 400+ bhp, i had the car lived mapped by stu
because ov several problems that arrised due to a previous live map by
another tuner........
anyhow while chatting to stu before taking my car up he persauded me to
go for closed loop because i all ready had most the essential bits fitted so
it would be a cheap conversion
tbh i did have my doubts not just in the fuel economy and also weather
the car would perform ok under load but stu assured me that there was
several saftey features so my car would be spot on when i thrashed it
well its been several months including a track day and a few thrashes up my
private road and the car performs faultlessly, it actually drives/starts & gives
me better economy than when i 1st got the car bearing in mind it was a
1 owner, totally standard concourse car with 18,000 mls thats some result !!!!!!
on a good run i can average 34mpg easy compared with 24mpg i averaged before
but still gives me totally perfect performance as soon as i peg it
best comparison i have is last year me & a very good m8 with a 04 plate scooby
wrx sti both filled up @ same station, drove to silverstone and back and when we
refilled @ the same station that night he put Ł7 more than me in the tank
as far as i know both tanks hold same amount so thats a awesome achievment
for a 17yr old car
sorry about the essay peeps but im bored

Im gobsmacked at the difference, not only cruising mpgs, but drivability from cold and general throttle response and sensitivity are massivly improved.Alot of the niggles i was putting down to"oh its an old car, oh its a performance car..etc" are now gone, and the car genuinely feels newer to drive, and in traffic almost compensates your lazy feet, eg i can pretty much set off normally without the acc pedal at all............its like it knows!!!
Hope this helps m8.

Tuning wise, when I have finished a few things and Bosch has e-mailed me back.
I set them a mail over 2 weeks ago. I shall change my tactics now. I was mailing them every 4 days. Now I shall mail them every day and if that doesn't get their attension then I shall e mail them 70 times a day!
