Hi,i fitted a cambelt to the above car which is this type of arrangment-(times up cam pulley/inj pump pulley and has a timing chain from crank-inj pump pulley)-so it was a piss easy job!(tiny little cam belt)
however the customer broke down on the way home so i thought oh shit the belts come off!
had it recovered back to work,took of the timing cover and the belts still there timed up correctly!!
put a code reader on it and is coming up with:
1.INJECTION PUMP CONTROL MODULE MALFUNCTION
2.INJECTION PUMP CONTROL MODULE REQUESTING REDUCED FUELING
i cannot understand how doing the belt has done this,as its shit not starting!!!
so basically any ford mechanics seen or no anything on this??
