Default question for ford employee/ service history

the wife's car is up for its second service and should of had this in october now..she has been off work cos of having an operation on her knee and couldnt drive for 6 months, so really didnt need the car..

now the car has devoloped a fault and its still under warranty but because she hasnt had it serviced she thinks she may get charged for it.

if she was to have the service done then tell fords of the fault would this be ok?
or would fords do the service then say she will have to pay for the fault to be fixed as she didnt keep up the service

hope all this makes sence

thanks gaz

thanks gaz

Can't say about Ford but my Daughter in Law had her warranty on an Alfa cancelled because she was 1000miles late for a service, she was busy having a baby but they didn't want to know.

i would say due to her having the operation and not being able to drive it,have it serviced when it goes in for the fault then i reckon they will cover it as long as you tell them shes not been able to drive.depends on dealer but if they are a shitty one they could say why didnt u take it in if u knew it was due

Depends on the fault, if it is service 'dependant' (IE-engine) then they COULD be arsey about it.
