lighting problems
Hi all,
how do i explain my lighting problem?,
right other night i turned my headlights of and they went of untill i took the key out, when i took the key out my park light came on on its own, how do i get it to stop doing that as at the moment i have to disconnet the battery the switch is on the off position, the indercator is on it's confussing me can anyone help?

OK, the first thing to do is not type in bold!
Now, regarding the parking lights, have you looked at key positions? Usually, cars with parking lights need you to turn the ignition off one stage further than normal if you want parking lights on. So, look at that.

did you say the indicator is on too cos i no on beemers it'll leave the parking lights on is it just the one side thats lit up, try turning the signal off and see how you go, dunno how it is with the new mondeo's but parking lights on mk1-2's are on the light switch next the the steering wheel and you push it and turn it one notch back past the off position.
edit just read it's a 93, yea check your light switch, im about to clean the car so when i'm out i'll see if the indicator being on makes it do this i'll let you no if it does in a min
