I always assumed it was their version of polesytrene(sp) cups or clear plastic cups etc that we tend to use.

When I used to have nutting party at my house when the rents were on holiday, always
got loads of plastic cups in for everyone to use, two reasons why, no washing up, and no can break a glass!
