brake problem merc vito
calling all mechanics please, the brakes, especially the fronts are permantly binding on my 2004 vito.
the other night i drove a round trip of 10 miles and could smell a burning like a clutch smell, i went sniffing around the wheels and the bloody brake disc was glowing red!!!
so i stripped the brakes down, the calipers pushed back freely and evenly, i took the sliders out and greased them and then reassembled and regreased the edges of the brake pads but to no avail
so i replaced both disc's and pads and brake hoses plus more grease and checked each caliper was bled and still they're binding!
the only other thing i can think of is the master cylinder but before i fork out more money i thought i'd ask for some suggestions please

you'd be surprised
we had a boost pipe come off
30 seconds to put it back on again, 50 minute to clear the fault codes it threw up
i'd be thinking along the lines of a braking component being faulty in the system somewhere rather than it being mechanically just stuck
