Mine never fails to impress me.

Mine had been dropped countless amounts of times, Been left of a bit of wood and had a car jacked up on it and been dropped into viscous fan on a bwm. I also can't remeber how many gallons of water/coolent have been spilt on it over the last year and a day i've owned it.

Sadly the little phone could not take any more abuse and at the weekend a face plant into a petrol station floor finally cracked the screen!

The thing is appart for a couple of cracks, the touch screen worked fauiltlessy, the screen was still sharp as hell and every thing worked perfectly as it did.

I synced it to my laptop last night as a replacement was being delivered this morning.

Hooked it up to the laptop and clicked restore, 10mins later the new phone as the old one was. All my text measages were the, All my email, Aplications, Contacts, Saved setting, Pictures, Tunes, The lot.

What a useful function. i thought i would be sitting here re programming all my contacts and kicking myself over lost texts.

Finally a product that actully thinks ahead a just makes life so much easyer.

 

most phones wiv a pc suit have that function, i had an lg like 3 years ago that done that. lmao. but doubt it would'v taken that abuse. i know never to lend u a phone.

 

My nokia N96 does the backup and restore through the PC thing, very handy! Shame it shatters into pieces if you do so much as guff in the same room as it! Has been back for repair more times than I can remember!

 

Mine is still going strong too, the back case has hair line cracks and the screen is getting a couple of pixels stuck on red every now and again but still going strong. Never been in one of those cases either. They are pretty strong

 

Had mine for 18months and touch wood is still going strong. Fitted a screen protector sheet and a silicon case for it as soon as I took it out the box on day 1 and still have an uncracked screen and NO scratches on the back I was going to upgrade to the 3g this month as my contract is up, but will wait till my phone packs up or a new IPhone comes out

 

Except that it cant do what nearly all other phones have been doing for at leaat 5 years...bluetooth to other phones

Also, wont mention that the camera is shit, only recently has MMS been available.

Cant do video calling.

Yes, its ahead alright, so far ahead its looped back in time and up its own arse

And yes I have one..

 

It's not an 8gb N95 though is it?

 

I love my 3gs first phone i've ever actually liked and constantly on.



Bar my 8 gig of greatness N95 nokia bad boy. It told me it was RWD not FWD the other day how cools that.

and to add my dad washed his in the washer and it didn't survive.... so there not that good
