bio-diesel machines?
Curious to know if anyone has experienced these?
I've seen a few machines advertised, make your own bio-diesel.
Anyone tight or skint enough who uses them? (or wise enough to use them)

never used one but i do run our golf on bio diesel as our local garage sells it stright out of the pump 78p a litre i do mix it with regular derv as well

I'm far from skint and have my own pumping station in the workshop that I fill with 300 litres at a time 
82p/litre at the moment where I buy it from - Was at 75p/litre at the end of November last year but with the increase in forecourt fuel prices and VAT prices go up in comparison
Still a damn sight cheaper than £1.16 a litre at the pump for regular stuff

I'm guessing it is safe to use if you buying it from a forecourt, I have read a couple of stories on the net so far. It makes your car smell like a chippy

The make youre own type will indeed have the smell of the oil remaining, but it's not horrendous, the commercially available stuff has chemicals added to clear this, and it is heated as well in production which helps.
I used bio for years from the pumps, ace stuff, some of the earlier strong mixes caused so much tarnish to be removed from where the diesel fuel had stained that it blocked pipes etc.
The bio at the pumps is only 5% bio, brand new engines can be run on 100% bio, as have no tarnish etc.
