Just spoke to Steve on the phone, he's @ Tony's, cam fitted BUT they've found a problem with the T38 now.... poor lad has NO-LUCK at all.....something to do with the wastegate arm....... car is staying with Tony, steve's got to get the train home.... bet he'll bore the driver to death..... only kidding big-man....
Yeah, Tony's sending it back to them, it's the wastegate arm as i've said, Steve will fill you in..it's positioned wrong apparently, sitting @ 7 oclock rather than the 9 oclock it should be at.....or summat..........
waste gate isn't closed
surprising that it spools so well and holds 2 bar all the way
coming off tomorrow for investigation
initial inspection appears to be a manufacturing fault will know more when I have removed it
plus give him a road map leading him to at least 5 dyno's on the way home so he can argue with himself about power differences and then he can post 20 pages of shit on here

Sort me a list of DD ones i can visit on the way home then
I wouldm't advise advancing the ignition it is of unkown compression ratio and runs pump fuel.Running on the point of det may gain a little power but the cylinder pressures will rise exponentially
....hope so, but they'll probably say it's an "oil" problem that bent the wastegate..............
high egt and excessive actuator loads are normally responsible for wastege gate deformation.
preliminary inspection indicates a production fault more detailed inspection will be made once it is removed

should have checked with the talking clock to see what the correct time was
