waste gate isn't closed
surprising that it spools so well and holds 2 bar all the way
coming off tomorrow for investigation
initial inspection appears to be a manufacturing fault will know more when I have removed it

So was there a problem with the map going rich when the car comes on boost?
I assume the turbo problem is a seperate issue?

Tony dropped me at the station and asked if i had my house keys etc, i had only left them in the sodding car

Tony Taxi back to workshop, get keys, Tony Taxi back to the station.

Train to london leaves as i walk onto the platform

Im sure Tony will sort everything for me and it will be the best its ever been when i get it back

it wont make any difference mate as it was still making 2 bar of boost and has nothing to do with the fuel map..

The only way to sort out the fuelling is to map it more..

Im sure this time it will be spot on and tony will do a top job..

This will make 420-430hp with the fuelling right the cam and the ignition tweaked..

cheers danny

I wouldm't advise advancing the ignition it is of unkown compression ratio and runs pump fuel.Running on the point of det may gain a little power but the cylinder pressures will rise exponentially

high egt and excessive actuator loads are normally responsible for wastege gate deformation.
preliminary inspection indicates a production fault more detailed inspection will be made once it is removed
