hi lads i have seen 202 blocks used befor and just wont in put on them . i have been out bid on one but i have spoke to the chap that has it and hes said if the winner lets him down its mine as its only about 10 miles away from were i am .So are they any good it will be going into a focos and running about 360Bhp

YES mate it is a 202 and iv seen one in a escort cosworth at Rayland

There was a saph running over 500bhp here in Norway with a 202 block, it was a old rallycross engine.

 

iv got a bare 205 block mate but shipping form australia will take some time

 

O right wot price if you wont to sell it and wot size are the bores on

 

i have no idea what they are worth mate (someone please advise), and it has never been bored. Came out of my 2wd stage 1 sapph.

a long time agow 2003 and all so pete is not a cheap chap but if you need it he has it

 

Wernt they the last of the tranny pinto blocks?! from memory a few people have used them, think they were as good as the 205 blocks?!

Are 205 blocks hard to get hold of now then?! got 2 spare ones, ones ok the other has cracks round 3 of the bolt holes. Might have to raid all my spares and stick them all up for sale soon!

 

a 202 is a transit block and it still has the same thick wall like the 200 block

just not sure on strenth

 

you can still pick up complete pinto engines for less than £200 so cant see a bare block being exspensive just look through the ads in classic and retro ford

 

thought 202 blocks were between a 200 an a 205,, always heard if you could get one snap it up??

 

i've got one in my sierra, not a YB just a pinto

got it out of a transit of about j or k reg

they use the cam from a 1.6 pinto and have quite a lot less power than a normal 2.0
